Strong winds are set to hit London today and tomorrow as the Met Office gives a yellow weather warning.
The Met Office is warning windy conditions are expected across England with widespread gusts of 60mph.
These strong winds are expected to move east across the country during Wednesday then move south-eastwards tonight before easing from the south-east of England around dawn on Thursday.
In southern coastal areas and high grounds winds of 70 mph are possible so be careful when out and about.
There is heavy rain forecast for the north of the country but it is likely to head towards London as the week progresses.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: “Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely whilst outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy, will add to the difficult travel conditions.”
The weekend is set to be very breezy and cold with some heavy and persistent rain, so wrap up warm.
