Councillor Oonagh Moulton, Leader of Merton Conservatives and one of the poppy sellers said:

“I want to thank all the commuters for their generosity in donating to the Poppy Appeal. The Royal British Legion does fantastic work supporting veterans and their families, including here in Merton, and it is a privilege to be able to help with their fundraising each year.
