Police are appealing for help to find an American woman who went missing from Worcester Park earlier today.
Officers are concerned for the welfare of Amy Nelson, 39, was last seen at around 3.30am this morning (Monday, August 21) when she told a relative she was going for a walk.
She is not believed to be in possession of her phone or passport and police are particularly concerned as she does not know the local area, and has found it difficult to adjust to life in the UK.
She also does not have access to a vehicle, however may use public transport to travel.
She is described as white, medium build with brown shoulder-length hair and glasses.
When she went missing, she was wearing purple and grey trainers, blue or grey denim jeans, a brown belt and a purple sweatshirt.
She speaks with an American accent.
Anyone who has seen Amy, or may have information on where she might be, is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 or 999 as soon as possible quoting reference P17212098.
