Over 100 children and young people joined together to create an Alice in Wonderland dance extravaganza to raise funds for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

The cast, made up of pupiles from London dance school Fancy Footwork, will appear at New Wimbledon Theatre on July 2.

Founder Lucy Clay said: ‘I am so thrilled to see so many of my students reaching out to help others less fortunate than themselves. This is a professional production that offers an innovative and highly creative narrative, bringing Alice’s magical journey to meet the Queen of Hearts to life.

"The two-hour performance will feature classical ballet, tap, modern and jazz and is a real showcase for the next generation of talented dancers.”

Show sponsor, Anthony Chenery of Big Yellow Self Storage added: “We recognise the incredible value initiatives such as this bring to the local community. We share the school’s vision to engage with the arts at a grass roots level and are delighted to support this dynamic theatrical production involving so many gifted and generous-spirited young people.”

Tickets are £25 each with all profits donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation available by email: info@fancyfootwork.co.uk.
