Merton Centre for Independent Living are hosting two hustings ahead of the general election.

They are holding the events in collaboration with Merton Mencap and Focus-4-1.

The first will be on Tuesday May 23 for Mitcham and Morden candidates from the Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties from 11.30am-1pm.

It will be held at Vestry Hall in Mitcham, CR4 3UD.

The second, for Wimbledon candidates, will be on Thursday 25 May. It will be held at The Holy Trinity Church on Wimbledon Broadway, SW19 1SB.

Stephen Hammond, the Conservative candidate, will not be attending the hustings.

British Sign Language interpreters will be available on the day.

Merton Centre for Independent Living is a deaf and disabled people’s organisation run by disabled people. Merton Mencap is a registered charity providing support and services for children, young people and adults with a learning disability. Focus-4-1 is an organisation ran by Black, Asian and ethnic minority adult mental health services users. The organisations do not have any political alignment.
