Singer and record producer P Diddy tried to book the royal box to watch the tennis at Wimbledon today.

Despite offering large amounts of cash, the America star had to be reminded that the box in Centre Court, cannot be hired - you must be formally invited.

P Diddy, real name Sean Coombs, instead booked a corporate box for himself and his entourage.

He is in London after performing at a concert marking the tenth anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, at Wembley Stadium yesterday.
