A "doorstep burglar" who stole off elderly people by pretending to carry out work in their homes has been jailed.
Richard McDill was sentenced to 19 months in prison at Kingston Crown Court on Wednesday February 15 after being convicted of theft and criminal damage charges.
Under the guise of being a workman, McDill used to go into elderly people’s homes across Wimbledon and Wandsworth stealing cash, credit cards and wallet.
