Morden Station was evacuated in a fire alert this morning that has now been described as a 'false alarm'.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) attended Morden Station just after 8.20am this morning after a smoke alarm in the station was set off.
However, a spokesman for Wimbledon Fire Station has confirmed it was a false alarm and there was no fire at the Undergound Station.
The alert caused chaos for stranded commuters as they were evacuated from the station.
