A drug dealer was jailed for three years after police officers discovered £5,000-worth of cocaine and cash in a parked car in a New Malden street.
Mustafa Abdullah was arrested in April last year after the Class A drug, £1,200 in cash, drug dealing equipment such as scales and snap bags and paperwork with his own name on was discovered in a car in New Malden.
He was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Abdullah pleaded guilty at Kingston Crown Court this month and was sentenced to three years and three months in jail.
PC Mike Deans said: “This sentence goes to show that drug dealing in Kingston will not be tolerated. We will continue to use every tactic to ensure convictions for those that deal drugs in our Borough.”
