Police officers chased a man from Morden and through St Helier, and found him carrying cannabis when they stopped him.
His route was then tracked back and police dogs later found ‘drugs, cash and scales’.
Merton police officers found the suspect out on patrol on Monday, July 25.
A Merton police spokesman: “A brief foot chase ensued through St Helier ward and a male was stopped with some cannabis on him.
“His route was tracked back and our dog unit found a bag containing drugs, cash and scales nearby.
“Great work by team and thank you to the dog unit.”
