A Morden resident has won a £100 voucher after entering Merton Council’s Love Your Street prize draw competition.
Joanna Coppola won a £100 One4All voucher to spend as she wishes after signing up to do her bit to keep Merton clean and take pride in the area.
The Love Your Street Campaign marks Merton Council’s new approach to its ongoing fight against littering and fly-tipping.
Cabinet Member for the Environmental Cleanliness and Parking Councillor Judy Saunders said: "Merton is a great place to live but a small minority of people continue to litter our streets.
"Many residents work hard to keep their neighbourhood clean and the campaign is about recognising that commitment."
Ms Coppola said: "It’s fantastic winning this prize and being recognised for the effort both myself and my husband Giovanni put in to keeping our property and street clean."
