Church-goers and guests celebrated 100 years of a church with a party and free food.

The Elim Pentecostal Church, which has a branch in Love Lane, Mitcham, celebrated a century since it started with an event on Sunday, June 14, for guests and members.

A service was followed by refreshments at the church, which prides itself on working with the community.
It hosts a food bank, provides maths and English tuition for children and is involved in street cleaning activities in support of the council.
