A chunky gold and diamond ring has been found on the street by a woman appealing for its owner to come forward.
Martina Spencer was walking to work along London Road, Mitcham, at about 8.30am on Thursday, May 14, when she spotted the ring on the pavement.
She is now appealing for the rightful owner to come forward to claim it.
The ring is described as a chunky gold band with three diamonds set into it.
Mrs Spencer said it was a size M and looked to be worth between £1,500 and £2,000.
Because of its description, it does not look to be the ring newly-wed Alexa Suranyi lost in Wimbledon recently.
Mrs Suranyi had put up posters around the town centre appealing for information after she lost a square set engagement ring.

Mrs Spencer, who has also put signs up in Mitcham appealing for anyone who has lost a ring to come forward, said she has had one call from a man she did not believe was credible.
She said: “I want to re-unite it with its rightful owner.
“Someone must be really upset.”
She said the owner would need proof it was theirs in the form of photographs or an insurance certificate before she could hand it back.
Do you think it is your ring?
