A season of blues music has launched at a riverside theatre in Merton Abbey Mills.

B'MUSED: Fancy rounding off the week with something a bit different? Rock band members Dave Weelhard, Fred Cresswell and Dave Grollman are well-known for singing popular songs at a high standard.

B'Mused ft. Del Benson; Colour House Theatre, Merantun Way; May 24, 8pm; £7; colourhousetheatre.co.uk.

BLUES ENGINEERS: More used to touring with the likes of B.B. King, Albert King, Gary Moore, Bill Wyman and Peter Green, the Blues Engineers will be bringing a two-piece horn section to Colliers Wood for this one-off performance.

Blues Engineers ft. John O'Reilly; Colour House Theatre; Sunday, June 7, 8pm; £7; colourhousetheatre.co.uk.

RIOTOUS BROTHERS: Mash Sonnet and Paul Long are the songwriters throughout the 10 original tracks and on this showing of their third album they are a force to be reckoned with. This is reported to be the album which proves Blues matters.

Riotous Brothers Live; Colour House Theatre; Sunday, June 14, 8pm; £7; colourhousetheatre.co.uk.

BLUES ABUSE: Steve Morrison blends the driving rhythms of John Lee Hooker with the sweet slide-guitar of Ry Cooder to create a sound all his own.

With songs of humour sadness and protest this is one blues musician not stuck down at the crossroads.

Steve Morrison's Blues Abuse; Colour House Theatre; Sunday, June 21, 8pm; £7; colourhousetheatre.co.uk.
