A pizza delivery driver was badly injured after a collision with a car at a notorious junction last night.
The emergency services were called to the junction of Durnsford Road and Weir Road in Wimbledon at about 9.30pm where they found a man with serious injuries.
The pizza delivery driver, who was driving a moped, was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting by ambulance crews with serious injuries.
The driver, believed to be in his thirties, had a leg injury, a London Ambulance spokesman confirmed.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
It happened at the same spot where a 91-year-old man died last May after being hit by a car and not far from where a jogger was left in a critical condition after being hit by a lorry at the junction with Arthur Road.
