A member of Parliament practiced his swing at the launch of a high-tech golfing facility.
Wimbledon MP Stephen Hammond unveiled Wimbledon Common Golf Club’s new Swing Studio which offers a variety of practice features and what it claims are some of the world’s best golf courses to play.
Club members were on hand for the official opening on Friday, March 6.
Mr Hammond said: "The Swing Studio is such an excellent additional facility for this club, it’s fun to use as well as very instructive and helpful for any standard of golfer. I was told that my left arm needs to be straighter!"
This cutting-edge technology will help correct the faults in the golfer’s game as well as give a better understanding of distance control and ball flight.
The new studio is for members and non-members of the Camp Road club in Wimbledon.
