Unions have organised a last-minute public meeting tonight to discuss "grave concerns" over proposed £32m cuts to public services in Merton.
Speakers from GMB, Union and Unite will take to the stage at a 6pm meeting at Morden Baptist Church in Crown Lane.
Kathy Abubakir, senior convenor of GMB Merton, said: "We are really concerned about cuts to parks and waste services and Merton Adult Education.
" There are lots of jobs in the local authority that are going to be under threat in the future and care for the vulnerable is going to be reduced.
"We have got grave concerns over that and there will be more cuts to come in future years.
"We need to get that out into the public arena because people need to know what’s coming."
