Students of a teacher murdered outside Waterloo Station last weekend have paid tribute to him on social media.
Menelaos Aligizakis, a Greek national who it is understood has taught at Wimbledon College and Ursuline School in Wimbledon, was killed as he waited for a night bus in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It is understood the 43-year-old teacher lived in Athens, but was in London for a Christmas holiday.
A post-mortem examination on Sunday found he died from severe head injuries.
Hundreds of Greek students have paid tribute to their teacher on a dedicated Facebook page.
Mark Patten, 30, from Thornton Heath, has been charged with murder and is due to appear in court tomorrow.
Anyone with information should call police on 020 8721 4205 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
