More than 4,000 people descended on Wimbledon last week to visit and buy from artists working in their own personal creative spaces.
Wimbledon Art Studios opened its doors from Thursday to Sunday, giving visitors the chance to meet 140 artists based there and buy works directly from them.
Painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, printmaking, textiles and furniture design were all on display at the studios in Riverside Road, near Wimbledon Stadium.
Derek Smith, Wimbledon Open Studios co-ordinator, said: "It was very successful in terms of sales and we had a lot of new visitors who came for the first time."
The Open Studios was suggested by artists 18 years ago and has since become a popular biannual event.
