A basketball championships aiming to unite young people from different communities on common ground will take place in Mitcham next week.
Sports charity B2B is running the free-to-enter contest at Harris Academy Merton for boys and girls aged 11 to 19 on Tuesday, October 28.
Played on half court, B2B basketball is a two on two game which allows participants to increase their ball skills, ball handling, passing and shooting because there are fewer players.
The day will kick-off with coaching and the second part will be played in a competition format moving from group stages to knockout games.
Participants will be split into age categories of under 14, 16 and 19, with boys and girls in separate leagues.
The games will be six minutes long with between two and four games playing at once to allow participants to play more games.
B2B aims to encourage young women into sport and all young people to embark on more active lifestyles and reduce antisocial behaviour.
