The accident closed London Road.
A man in his twenties was taken to hospital with a nose bleed and shock after a crash this morning.
The driver of a car which smashed into a lamppost in London Road, Morden, was treated for his injuries by paramedics but was taken to St George’s Hospital as a precaution.
Ambulance crews were called at 9.19am this morning to reports of a road traffic collision.
The accident closed the road and police advised people to avoid the area while it was dealt with.
