A Polish man accused of going equipped to steal in a stolen car appeared casually dressed before a judge yesterday.

Dawid Tychon, 29, of Ellison Road, Streatham, was remanded in custody at Kingston Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing in November.

Mr Tychon wore a red t-shirt with an England flag on and blue jeans in the dock at the short hearing where he listened to proceedings via a Polish interpreter.

He is accused of handling stolen goods, driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance, going equipped for theft and driving a motor vehicle without consent of the owner.

Mr Tychon looked unimpressed as he was remanded in custody by Judge Paul Dodgson.

He was arrested by police on Sunday, August 17 in Garratt Lane, Wandsworth. He will next appear at the same court in November.
