A Mitcham man will appear in court charged with conspiracy to rob and conspiracy to kidnap after a van hijack.
Stephen Foster, 48 of Carisbrooke Road, Mitcham, will appear at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday, September 11.
Police said the charge follows a hijacking at around 4.45pm on Wednesday, May 28 when a delivery driver who was driving away from the Cathedral Hill Industrial Estate in Guildford was forced to stop and had his van hijacked by four men.
A number of parcels, including a quantity of jewellery, were stolen from the back of the van during the raid.
Foster appeared at Redhill Magistrates Court on Friday, where he was remanded to appear at Guildford Crown Court in September.
