A prolific thief banned from the borough after receiving more than 50 convictions has been arrested for allegedly breaching her anti-social behaviour order.
Exiled former Merton resident Victoria Bunton was caught by officers in Mitcham at about 4.40am on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear in Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Thursday, August 28.
She was the first person in the country to be banned from entering an entire borough, after receiving a three-year ban on Monday, February 24.
The ASBO says she must live at an address in Southcroft Road, Tooting and can only enter Merton to attend appointments with lawyers.
