There is an exciting line-up of events at The Wimbledon Guild this coming week.

Aiming to promote an active and varied social experience for elderly people in Merton, the week kicks off with a Tai Chi class at Drake House Hall in St George's Road, Wimbledon at 10.30am today.

If you're a period drama fan, don't miss a viewing of the film adaptation of Philippa Gregory's best-selling novel The Other Boleyn Girl at Senior Cinema Club in Gorringe Park, London Road, Mitcham at 1pm on Monday.

Get advice on how to avoide Merton's top 10 scams and learn more about door step crime with a thought-provoking talk by Trading Standards on Tuesday at the Guild Lounge in Worple Road, Wimbledon, from 10.30am to 12pm.

Connect with like-minded board games enthusiasts at Scrabble Club from 1pm to 3pm next Thursday at the Guild Lounge.

Or, if you'd like some fresh air with friends old and new, join the Wimbledon Guild for their weekly Wednesday Summer Strolll.
