The cause of a fire which damaged a shop in The Broadway, Wimbledon, yesterday is under investigation.
Ten firefighters from Mitcham and Wimbledon stations were called to Powells of Wimbledon next door to Trinity Hospice on Sunday, July 13, where they found the property with smoke billowing from under the shutter door.

The ground floor of the shop was 10 per cent damaged by the fire but there were no reported injuries, a fire spokesman said.
Two fire engines were called to the scene at 4.53pm, leaving just under an hour later.
