Business owners celebrated the first anniversary of a Caribbean takeaway with a large cake and face painting for children.
Anna Chandell and her partner Donavan Howe marked one year since they set up Don’s Jerk Centre in Streatham Road, Mitcham, with a party for family and friends.
Councillor John Dehaney was among the guests who enjoyed a prize draw, food tasting and face painting.

Ms Chandell, who is originally from Jamaica, said: “It went really well, we had people coming throughout the day.
“Our speciality is jerk chicken or pork with an authentic recipe not just for Jamaicans but people who want to bring back memories of their holiday.”
The event was held on Saturday, June 28.
