A drunk driver was fined and banned from getting behind the wheel after being found over the legal limit on a Wimbledon Road.
Christopher Michael Wells, 28, of Beaumont Road, Southfields, admitted driving a Peugeot scooter on Hartfield Road in Wimbledon after consuming alcohol.
He was found with 81 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, exceeding the legal limit on April 24 this year.
He was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £25, costs of £85 and disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Monday, June 30.
