Kingston Road has reopened following a road traffic collision at the junction with Church Lane.

Police were called at about 2.40pm after a black Yamaha motorcycle collided with a blue Vauxhall Astra at the junction with Church Lane, near Raynes Park Station.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and treated the motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, for leg injuries.

He was taken to Kingston Hospital

The woman driving the car was not injured.

Police closed sections of Kingston Road and Church Lane while LAS attended.

The roads were reopened at 3.30pm.

No arrests have been made.

I don't know any Church Lane near Raynes Park station. Do you mean Merton Park by any chance? That is horrible stretch of road. Always terribly congested. Hope the fellow is ok.
