Proposed plans for AFC Wimbledon in Plough Lane go on display today for fans to take a glimpse at the new stadium.

Club officials will be on hand to talk about plans to build a new stadium on the hotly contested site where greyhound racing currently takes place.

Proposals for the greyhound stadium by the opposing side will be on display today at the Wimbledon Park Hall until 5.30pm.

Proposals from both the greyhound racing supporters and AFC Wimbledon will have to be considered by Merton Council’s planning committee in due course.

The first of three public consultations by AFC Wimbledon will take place today in partnership with Galliard Homes.

Computer-generated imagery of what the stadium would look like if it is built will be available to view at the exhibitions.

Visitors can provide feedback on the plans.

The first public exhibition will be staged at Lola Jones Hall, Tooting Leisure Centre until 8pm.

The leisure centre will host the second viewing tomorrow from 10am to 2pm, and on Tuesday, July 1 the plans will be on display at Wimbledon Park Hall in Arthur Road, Wimbledon, from 12pm until 4pm.
