Youngsters from a Mitcham school are celebrating joint second place in a national photography competition.
A total of eight children from Cricket Green School entered the My Perspective competition run by the Down’s Syndrome Association, with two of them being awarded joint second place.
Tim Beale, 14, was honoured for his picture taken in an adventure playground, with 15-year-old Rosika Edmund picking up joint second for her image of flowers.
Rosika said "I love taking pictures, it relaxes me."
The award ceremony was held in Kew Gardens on Thursday June 5.
Now in its fifth year, the annual competition is open to anyone with Down’s Syndrome.
