Giant rabbits, mongooses, ducks, guinea pigs and hamsters delighted children at a bank holiday petting zoo on Sunday.
The animals from Deen city farm entertained more than 150 children in the spacious garden of the Charles Holden pub in Colliers Wood High Street.
The petting zoo was part of a variety of children’s entertainment at the pub over the weekend to raise money for First Touch neonatal charity, which supports babies born prematurely at St George’s Hospital, Tooting.
Face painting, a charity raffle and live music all went ahead, although the barbecue was cancelled due to bad weather.
Pub manager Rob Wood started fundraising for First Touch with the Storks rugby team five years ago, after a teammate’s daughter was born prematurely and assisted by the charity.
He said: "We raised around £500 for the charity so it was quite good. The garden was packed which was our main driver for the weekend."
