A West Molesey woman is distraught after her beloved cat went missing since Christmas Eve.
Emma Wilkins, from First Avenue, is desperate to get her tom cat Romeo back.
She said: "I last saw Romeo, when I let him out in the back garden with his brother Rocky on Christmas Eve morning.
"My partner and I spent all Christmas Eve night, Christmas Day and Boxing Day searching for him, but with no joy.
"We have put up posters in the area and dropped notes through doors. It is a nightmare just not knowing where he has gone."
Ms Wilkins got Romeo and his brother from an animal shelter when they were just a few weeks old.
She added: "He is a very loving cat and I am just praying that someone has not taken him home for Christmas.
"He is very vocal with a distinctive miaow and has been microchipped. I am desperately missing him and want him back at home."
Romeo is a short-haired black and white cat, about 18 months old, of medium build and was wearing a black and white collar with a heart pendant attached.
Anyone who has seen Romeo or knows of his whereabouts should contact Emma on 07958 527 477 or email ygordon@london.newsquest.co.uk
