The funeral of a teenager killed on a Mitcham road will be held on Monday.

Dozens of tributes poured in for popular Hackbridge 17-year-old Claudia Landa after her death on Friday, April 4.

The Richmond-upon-Thames College student died in hospital two days after being hit by a lorry on her way home.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, April 28, at St Mary’s Church in Church Road, Beddington.

Claudia's family have organised a celebration of her life which will be held following the service for friends and family to remember her in a more informal way.

Claudia’s family have asked for floral tributes to be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, 153 Streatham High Road, Streatham.

There will be an opportunity to make donations towards a fund to support future charitable work in the teenager’s name on the day.

The funeral will be held from 10am which will be followed by a celebration of her life from 1pm at the New Horizon Leisure Centre in South Lodge Avenue, Mitcham.
