Matthew Kelly is set to make an appearance at a Wimbledon charity's Christmas celebrations.

The actor and TV presenter, set to start as Widow Twankey in Aladdin at the New Wimbledon Theatre, will join the party at the Wimbledon Guild’s Magic of Christmas event on Tuesday, December 17.

All are invited to attend the event which will start at 11am with entertainment until 2.30pm which will include performances from the Priory, St Mary’s and Capsticks Choirs and Zumba class.

Santa will also be on hand to provide treats, beverages and a full lunch.

A spokesperson for the Wimbledon Guild said: "The Wimbledon Guild strongly believes that getting older should not stop you from enjoying life and invite all to feel festive with friends at The Wimbledon Guild’s Magic of Christmas.

"Supporting ageing is one of The Wimbledon Guild’s three core aims, alongside tackling poverty and encouraging mental well-being.

"In this economic climate, the need for these services has never been greater."

Tickets are £10 which includes fish and chips lunch.
