An allegation of sexual assault during the Wimbledon Championships has been dropped.
It was alleged a serious sexual offence had taken place in the early hours of Sunday, July 7, in Wimbledon Park, while eager fans had queued overnight for Championship tickets.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and bailed but police confirmed he has been released without charge following an investigation.
