A teenage photographer's image has been selected as the front cover for the 2014 Richmond Park calendar.

The photograph was taken by Danielle Connor, 17, of Wimbledon, and shows deer in the park at sunrise.

It was discovered by the Friends of Richmond Park through the self-taught photographer's personal Facebook page.

Miss Connor first began photographing her dog in the park when she was 14 and turned her hand to capturing nature in the park.

Her hobby grew through birthday and Christmas presents of professional photographic equipment.

She has won the Marwell Photographer of the Year award and was shortlisted for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award last week.

Several of Miss Connor's images also appear inside the calendar.

The charity calendar is on sale at the Richmond Park Visitor Centre by Pembroke Lodge for £5.99.

All profits go towards funding conservation projects in the park.
