Two men braved a leg wax this week to raise money for Comic Relief.

The hair-raising event, organised by the Merton Chamber of Commerce and Bluebird Care, saw employees Jay Patel and Tom Ruffell raise more than £500 to have a half leg stripped of hair on Friday.

Mr Patel said: "It was a pleasure to contribute towards such a good cause and we would like to thank everyone who was involved as well as everyone who donated money to help us take part and raise money for Comic Relief."
