A charity worker who cycled almost non-stop for 24 hours on a gym bike has raised more than £500.
Nick Searing, 22, community fundraiser for the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity in Leatherhead, finished the challenge at noon on Wednesday at Asda in Burgh Heath.
He cycled the equivalent of 260 miles and burned over 5,000 calories during his marathon effort.
Mr Searing, from Raynes Park, said: "It’s the hardest challenge I’ve ever had to do but I’ve had fantastic support from all the staff at Asda and from Rainbow Trust.
"I wanted to raise awareness of the support Rainbow Trust give families with a terminally ill child and raise some money for them too."
He had a 10 minute break every two hours.
