Celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine adds glamour to Harris Academy Merton's food tech class

Celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine cooked up a storm at an academy school in Mitcham this week.

The chef, known for her channel 4 show Cook Yourself Thin, visited students at Harris Academy Merton on Tuesday, February 5.

Thirty food technology students were treated to a taste testing of two of her dishes from her recipe book Gizzi’s Kitchen Magic, including her take on millionaire shortbread with salted caramel and rosemary, and her Earl Grey-flavoured chocolate fudge cake.

She was also on hand to answer students’ questions about her career in the food industry and their own aspirations.
