A pair of twins will be scaling Africa’s tallest summit to raise money in memory of their beloved pet dog.

Kate and Lucy Flory, 27, from Wimbledon, will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2014 for the Animal Health Trust in Suffolk.

The Flory sisters committed to the challenge after the death of their golden retriever, Tia, who died from cancer, aged six, in November 2012.

The pair are hoping to raise £4,000 for the trust’s brand new cancer care centre which was opened by HRH The Princess Royal in November.
