District line suspended after signal failure at Wimbledon

Commuters leaving or coming home to Wimbledon or Putney are warned to leave extra time for their journey due to a suspension on the District Line this afternoon.

Transport for London has reported a Network Rail signal failure at Wimbledon, which means there is currently no service between Wimbledon and Putney Bridge.

This section of the District Line is controlled by Network Rail, who also use the line to move South West Trains.
