Boy hospitalised after collision
A young boy was hospitalised after a road traffic collision in Mitcham.
Ambulance crews, including the London Air Ambulance, were called to Gorringe Park Avenue in Mitcham just before 11.30am on yesterday.
A boy, believed to be 10 years old, was treated for a head injury and was taken to St George’s Hospital.
The A217 London road was closed southbound for several hours yesterday while emergency crews cleared the scene.
