Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph will be channelling her meanest side when she comes to Croydon in the musical Annie.
The actress play Miss Hannigan, a role she played in the West End, when the tour comes to Fairfield Halls from May 2 to 7.
Set in 1930s New York during the Great Depression, the musical tells the story of brave Annie who lives a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. Her luck changes one Christmas when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the mansion of billionaire Oliver Warbucks.
The show contains the iconic songs It’ the Hard Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You and Tomorrow.
