The brand new autumn season of shows at the Epsom Playhouse has been unveiled and there are some old favourites returning as well as some new and exciting productions.

Comedy features high on the agenda with visits from Jongleurs on the Road, Omid Djalili, Hal Cruttenden, Roy ‘Chubby’ Brown and Dirty Dusting starring Crissy Rock from ITV’s Benidorm and I’m a Celebrity. New show My Dalek Has a Puncture stars Simon Fisher-Becker, better known to Sci-Fi fans as Dorium Maldovar from BBC1’s Doctor Who.

There will be debut visits by musicians including Ultimate Elton and The X Factor’s Marcus Collins, and return visits by, among others, The Bay City Rollers’ front man Les McKeown, Epsom favourites Blake, Albert Lee and Hogan’s Heroes, Joe Brown, Michael Armstrong and The Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Other events this season include psychic Sally Morgan, Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, LDN Wrestling, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, CBeebies Andy Day, Moscow Ballet and medium Derek Acorah.

The season finale at Christmas wil be the fabulous family pantomime The Wizard of Oz starring children’s TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips, and for younger children Santa Claus and The Magical Christmas Journey in the Myers Studio Theatre.
