Liam Gallagher holding back in an interview would be like the Queen deciding not to show off her royal wave to passers-by.

And the former Oasis singer has – as expected – let loose in a chat with Q magazine, in what is his first interview in a long while.

Of course, he goes in hard on his estranged brother and former band mate Noel, but he also opens up about his love life, his new music and his fondness for bothering neighbour Jamie Oliver while drunk.

He told the magazine: “It’s like Stella Street round here. Jamie Oliver lives up the road. I got told off for throwing stones at his windows p***ed up, asking him to chuck down some bacon rolls.”

It’s all change for the musician, who was an integral part of the 1990s Britpop scene and is known for his party lifestyle and carefree attitude.

He told the publication: “I run around seven miles every day, leaving around 5am.”

However, he hasn’t completely lost himself in a new, healthier lifestyle, as he added: “Unless I’ve been out on the sauce, then I’m getting in at 5am. Normally, though, seven miles.”

Liam is also loved up with girlfriend Debbie Gwyther – his former manager, who he has been dating since he split from his ex-wife Nicole Appleton in 2013.

The rocker, 43, praised Debbie for helping him through the past few years, claiming that she “saved” him.

He said: “No bulls***. Debbie swooped me up as I was falling, she just said, ‘Stop being a d***head’. She got me out of the house, introduced me to all kinds of people outside my world, got me doing new things.

“I’ve lived in London a long time, but I only really knew Hampstead. She took me to new places. I’ve been to Dalston, man.”

Liam also took aim at brother Noel. Their acrimonious relationship is well-documented and there appears to be no sign of them making up any time soon.

He said, hinting that his sibling will eventually lose his fame: “Nobody will really understand what it’s like to leave the bubble unless you’ve been in the bubble. When our kid falls out of the bubble he will fall hard. That big machine around him. The itinerary. Noel Gallagher’s life is all mapped out for him from the moment he wakes up.”

He added that Oasis splitting is “what [Noel] wanted” and that he “never heard [Noel] say he was disappointed” about the band.

Liam, who went on to score musical success with band Beady Eye before they disbanded in 2014, also revealed he is set to release new music in the near future.

He said: “We’ve demoed some songs and it’s sounding… I am not embarking on a solo career. Everyone should know that.

“There are just 10, 11 songs I’ve written that are eligible to be recorded. They’ve got flair, attitude, the melodies are sick and the words are f***ing funny.”
