Has Brooklyn Beckham got a rebellious streak? The son of Victoria and David Beckham stars in The Vamps’ video for new single Wake Up – climbing on the roof and setting off a flare, before pulling off some impressive stunts.

The video features the band strolling through a neighbourhood in suburban America, calling for everyone to “wake up”.

A hooded figure rolls out of bed, runs across his roof and lets off a flare into the blue sky – in the shape of a V. He then jumps off into a low roll across the grass, before joining The Vamps as they stroll down the middle of the road.

Joined by Brooklyn – who fits right in – the gang jump in a mini-bus and head for a transmission tower, where they broadcast window-shattering music while teens across the town set off “V” flares and hold up speakers.

The London-born 16-year-old is good friends with the British pop band, who range in age from 19 to 21.

The Vamps said: “This video was something we had never done before; we performed on top of a radio tower, 100 feet in the air. It was pretty scary, but absolutely awesome.

“We were lucky enough to have Brooklyn Beckham in the video, he’s a super nice guy and crazy talented.”

Fans were super excited to see the video, which also featured The Tide – an American boy band signed by The Vamps’ own record label. But it was Brooklyn who got most of the love.

The Vamps’ new album, Wake Up, is released on November 27.
