Devious Maids star Dania Ramirez has revealed she gets a thrill out of filming her love scenes with Grant Show.
The 35-year-old actress, who plays Rosie Falta, often gets to kiss her co-star, who portrays her screen fiance Spence Westmore.
“It’s so much fun. It’s funny, it’s edgy,” she said.
“The good thing about doing a show like this is because it is raunchy, and because it is really funny at times, we have a lot of fun while the cameras are not rolling and that makes for an incredible show for us.”
The Dominican-American star added: “It’s kind of like deviously inappropriate, which I love. We say things that people are thinking, which I love. That’s one of the things I love about dark comedies is you kind of push the envelope and this is what Marc Cherry does.”
The third series of Devious Maids, which continues on TLC on Wednesdays, sees Dania and Grant’s characters tying the knot.
“There’s going to be a lot of stuff that’s going to keep you at the edge of your seat,” Dania teased.
The love triangle between Spence, Rosie and her first husband Ernesto Falta (Cristian de la Fuente) will also continue in the new season.
Grant said: “We know what the audience knows – Ernesto, who we think is dead, is not dead. Spence is not unemployed so the attraction of money is not there, so Spence is really going to have to step up his game.”
Dania added: “We’re really going to play around with that Rosie and Spence and Ernesto love triangle, and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
“Our relationship (Rosie and Spence’s) is going to get tested because Rosie was really in love with Ernesto. Spence is really jealous, I love it!
“Maybe it’s because I’m Latin but I love a jealous man. I love men fighting over me. Fight for me baby! Fight for me.”
Devious Maids continues on TLC at 10pm on Wednesdays.
