Justin Bieber is in trouble again – after gatecrashing a high school prom.
The 21-year-old pop star turned up out of the blue at Chatsworth Charter High School on the night of their prom at the weeekend, to the delight of students.
But the Los Angeles Unified School District were not so happy about the situation. They claimed the pupils could have been put at risk by the chaos caused by the Baby singer’s presence.
LAUSD spokesperson Ellen T Morgan said told Yahoo Music that Bieber was not supposed to attend the event.
“The school was aware that Mr Bieber was at the venue recording, but was assured that he would not come out to interfere with the programme.
“His entourage pushed past the school’s security to gain access to the dancefloor and was there for three to four minutes.
“From the students’ perspective it was a once in a lifetime experience to have him at their prom, but we were extremely concerned for the safety of both our students as well as Mr Bieber. No student was injured while he was there.”
A spokesman for Bieber confirmed that he was not booked to appear at the dance. “He was in the area and heard and just crashed,” the representative said.
The kids who got to share their prom night with a global pop star didn’t seem to mind though.
