Channing Tatum is offering young filmmakers the chance to join him at the Oscars in 2015.

As many as six aspiring directors will appear at the 2015 Academy Awards ceremony, as part of the Team Oscar programme, for which the Jupiter Ascending star is spokesman.

Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have announced they’re bringing back the initiative that invites young filmmakers to play a role in the awards show.

American citizens aged 18 to 30 are eligible, and submissions are due January 12.

The Magic Mike star will help select the winning artists, who will be flown to Los Angeles to participate in Oscar week activities and appear on the Oscar ceremony as trophy carriers.
